The KYC Operations team is part of the Digital & Platform Services group within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) division of JPMorgan. Wholesale KYC Onboarding (WKO) has a global footprint with hubs in The Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA.

The WKO NA Markets Middle Office has teams in Brooklyn and Tampa. The WKO Middle Office role will be located in Brooklyn and is focused on liaising with the Front Office or the Client to request, gather, review and verify documents to meet KYC requirements as it pertains to existing client relationships in the CIB; partnering with the WKO Maker teams offshore to ensure the KYC records are completed accurately and on time, and completing a remediation to the JPMorgan Global AML Standards for all active CIB clients.


We are looking for high performing individuals interested in a challenging new opportunity in the WKO NA Markets Middle Office group. The opening is available for an individual who has experience and understanding in the following areas:

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the understanding of Customer Due Diligence requirements
  • CIB Markets products and services
  • Business and organization structures
  • A specialist understanding of clients and industries
  • Navigation of the sales organization


  • Ability to work in an environment with high pressure, time sensitive and deal breaking tasks
  • Orientation to Client and Front Office service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Participate on a fast-paced dynamic team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities :

  • Clearly and efficiently communicate to Front Office/Clients/Middle Office teams
  • Coordinate with Sales, Bankers, Relationship Managers, Account Opening teams and clients to acquire outstanding client Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and/or Regulatory documentation
  • Discuss and escalate with Compliance complex issues surrounding client types and structures, financial products and services, and other AML risk-related issues
  • Ensure Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and/or Regulatory documentation are accurate and complete when captured in source systems
  • Escalate client and business issues to senior management
  • Perform public and internal research to compile AML/Non-AML due diligence information
  • Manage an active and dynamic pipeline of mandates for CIB Markets business
  • Understanding of Legal Entity structures
  • AML and Regulatory Subject Matter Expert such as FinCEN, MiFid
